Scenic Cable, a locally owned cable television advertising and video production company, was established in 1988. From the beginning, the company has been devoted to meeting the needs of the communities. Owners Terry Duffie and David Mit Kirkland have been involved in radio and television since the mid-sixties. Scenic Cable started by providing advertising on only three networks and one cable system. Today, Scenic provides advertising on 43 different networks with 33 HD Channels on three cable systems: Spectrum in Dothan, Enterprise, Comcast Cable in Dothan and Spectrum in Eufaula.
Scenic Cable connects Wiregrass residents with the events and information that's important to them by broadcasting over 100 local high school football and basketball games, city and county commission meetings and other local events as a service to the community. The company has been the recipient of many awards from the American Advertising Federation.
